MBMC’s contribution focused on the specialist surface decoration of the joinery throughout, including panelling, window frame and the fire surround.

Master Bedroom – Salvensen Graham

MBMC hand-applied a strié glaze to the wall panelling, giving it depth and a quietly aged character, and decorated the coffered ceiling with stencilled corner motifs, a ceiling rose and fine pin-striping.

Drawing Room – Guy Goodfellow

We collaborated with Guy Goodfellow and Tissu d’Helene to manifest a vision of a drawing room at the 2024 WOWhouse exhibition. Columns and pilasters were finished in faux Porphyry with inlaid ivory, walls and ceilings hung with custom wallcoverings and woodwork specialist painted in a custom finish.

We collaborated with Sibyl Colefax & John Fowler to make faux Ivory fillets to frame the green velvet walls.

Kitchen – Ben Pentreath

We collaborated with Ben Pentreath to decorate the walls of his WOW!house Kitchen in a beautiful broken distemper finish. Joinery and cabinetry was painted and antiqued lending the room an established air!

Handpainted Paper Master Piece 2018 – Edward Hurst

MBMC collaborated with Edward Hurst to decorate the walls of his stand at Masterpiece in 2018. A hand painted paper backed hessian in the style of the Swedish Gustavian period.
