From Concept to Completion and Aftercare
The process begins with consultation, listening to the requirements and ambitions of our client and supporting that vision as the project develops with visual modelling, sketches and practical design development.
Sample libraries give shape and definition to initial concepts as we draw inspiration from these resources, specifying details and surface decoration. The design journey is supportive and collaborative – realising your ambitions with creative insight underpinned by experienced technical understanding.
Our design and production teams work seamlessly together, overseen by our Operations team adding structured monitoring, programming and governance to the project management.
The in-house logistics team handle shipping and installations globally. Attention to detail is collectively scrutinised as we approach completion, followed by our aftercare teams, who will return to keep our installations looking immaculate.
Design Team
We work in 3D – starting with LiDAR spatial surveying, specialising in fully coordinated interior architectural modelling. Comprehensive design detailing is consistent in our systematic design process, as we bring together all of the craft disciplines we undertake.
We also offer product design services for our clients, prototyping and designing processes for CNC and robotics fabrication.
Project Management
Complex projects require skilled project management and we focus on the practical realisation of your ideas from inception. Strong leadership and astute navigation define our project managers as they coordinate our works with all other trades on site with a collegiate spirit.
Sublime Joinery
Our Specialist Workshops can fulfil the most demanding joinery requirements utilising both cutting edge robotic fabrication methodology and artisanal hand finishing. Fully supported by a dedicated team of CAD draftsmen and expert project managers, we are experienced in delivering the most ambitious joinery projects, rich with nuanced detail and beautiful craftsmanship.
Architectural Enrichment
Patternmaking is part of our DNA, we utilise cutting-edge technology in 3D modelling software, printing and CNC carving to design new enrichments, decorative mouldings, sculpted ornament and hardware patterns. This capacity for in-house product design enhances every product we make with refined levels of detail.
Panelling
The panelled interior brings together all of our three dimensional and decorative finishing skills in the production of divine interior architectural confections.
Unique Kitchens
Our Kitchens are custom made to the individual requirements of our clients and their design team. Every kitchen design is unique, and brings together all our workshops disciplines incorporating beautiful surface finishing, metalwork, stone and exemplary cabinetmaking.
Timber Flooring
Reproduction antique flooring and hand finished parquet imbued with patina and authenticity, made for the modern home and engineered to last the test of time.
We fabricate long boards and complex parquetry, inlays and borders to give refinement and decorative distinction. Our flooring products are entirely bespoke to your requirements.
Marquetry
Panelling, Fine Furniture and Cabinetry can be magically enhanced with the addition of marquetry designs and inlays. With hundreds of exotic veneer options, we decorate timber surfaces with pattern and artisanal enhancement.
Fine Furniture
Fine furniture is made to commission as well as our unique one-off pieces designed by MB and MC, sold through our gallery in Somerset.
We are happy to make reproduction pieces – copying antique pieces to make a pair or fabricating a large set of dining chairs
Polished Plaster
Our plaster finishes are hand made and coloured to specification on site before application by our artisans. Myriad finishes may be achieved from dry textural plaster surfaces to deeply polished plasters. Our range caters for every aesthetic, whether you favour monastic simplicity or the deep opulence of a Moroccan kasbah.
Specialist Decoration
High quality decoration, meticulous preparation and base coating are the foundation for our specialist finishes. Our site teams, led by experienced senior decorative artists consist of the best trained painters, decorators and artisans working with paint, plaster, wax, gold and paper amongst many more intriguing materials. This highly artistic, but practical approach ensures that every project not only meets, but exceeds our clients expectations.
Wallpaper
We produce the most exquisite wallcoverings, offering a range of options from delicate teapapers to the textural charm of paper backed hessian, each may be enhanced with beautiful hand-painted murals, silk screen printed motifs and stencilled patterns. Crafted exclusively in our London studios, our collections provide an opportunity to furnish a room with a truly bespoke product that reflects the unique style and personality of our clients.
Mosaic
We craft stunning mosaics that adorn floors, walls and furniture around the globe. Decorative Glass
MBMC Studios’ glass studio produces the finest quality hand silvered, gilded and back painted decorative art glass. Our glass may be bright cut, etched, bevelled and shaped for both contemporary projects and restoration schemes. Our processes perfectly blend cutting edge glass technology and centuries old techniques.
